Welcome to the all new 2026 club website
Hopefully you approve of the updated design and revised layout of the site and can find the information you require quickly, and easily, via the simpler navigation menu
The aim of our society is to promote the responsible ownership, welfare and training of all breeds of working gundogs by bringing together like minded gundog owners
in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in order to further their knowledge of gundog ownership and training together with running gundogs in competition and utilising their abilities in the shooting field.
We are blessed with being based in a part of the country in which, thankfully, shooting and fieldsports in general are still popular and well supported which creates a strong demand for obedient and well trained working Spaniels, Retrievers and HPR`s and knowledgeable handlers to work on not only the plethora of small family run shoots but also the ever growing driven syndicates and large commercially operated shoots throughout the 3 counties
Based on these requirements Worcestershire Gundog Society offers a range of training classes, and courses for handlers and their dogs throughout the year so whether you are a complete novice handler with your first ever gundog or seasoned handlers looking to polish up your own skills and maybe your dog's abilities ready for the next season's shooting we can help.
For those of a competitive nature the Society is registered with the Kennel Club and certified to run Novice and Open Working Tests and Field Trials
